We took Joey to his first concert on November 19, 2006 when country star Marty Stuart came to town for a show called the Venice Airport Jam. Marty played all his hits from the 1990s including The Whiskey Ain't Working Anymore and Hillbilly Rock. I was impressed with his energy, use of the mandolin, the volume of rhinestones on the clothing of his band "The Fabulous Superlatives", and by the way Marty still rocks his legendary 90's mullet. Billy Ray Cyrus would have been proud!
